The reaction from fans was immediate. I made a point to keep a consistent tone throughout the process because the substance of what was said was not necessarily crucial to its acceptance. More important was constructing a web of statements and comments that effused a feeling of realism in the viewer. The fan took care of the rest for me.

If you're even a casual viewer of the World Wide Leader (ESPN), you probably know that their Super Bowl coverage is a bit, shall we say... over the top? You're inundated with countless statistics to the point your head is spinning and the line between what's important in this game and what’s not becomes blurred (and I can't tell you what I'll do if I hear Mark Schlerth repeat the same thing over and over again. Yes Mark, Saints left tackle Jerrod Bushrod is in heaven right now in light of the Freeney injury. We got it, I just don't want to hear you say it for a 12th time).
This should be your one and only preview you read from here on out. We’ve broken it down to the five most important aspects of this game. It's OK to change the channel on your TV now. Really.
We should note that all of the sections described below are not going to be updated with particular consistency. Whichever category our post happens to fall within is the one it will be categorized in. There is no set quota of posts we're looking to reach either so there may be periods of many posts and some with droughts, but all of this is in an effort ensure that what we do produce is thoughtful, stimulating, and solid. That's not to say there won't be a quick post here or there if the mood should strike us, but it won't be the norm.
Beisbol section is broken into three different sections, Balls and Strikes, Nine Innings, and Minor League Banter.
