MLB Season Preview: Yankees Edition

Over the next several posts, we'll outline the way we'll work and what to expect out of us sport-by-sport.

We should note that all of the sections described below are not going to be updated with particular consistency. Whichever category our post happens to fall within is the one it will be categorized in. There is no set quota of posts we're looking to reach either so there may be periods of many posts and some with droughts, but all of this is in an effort ensure that what we do produce is thoughtful, stimulating, and solid. That's not to say there won't be a quick post here or there if the mood should strike us, but it won't be the norm.

Beisbol section is broken into three different sections, Balls and Strikes, Nine Innings, and Minor League Banter.

Balls and Strikes: Here we will go around the league and break down different transactions as they happen. As well as give you analysis on teams rosters and their chances of making the playoffs.

Nine Innings: You'll find a recap of the previous nights games, with some commentary on coaching break downs, such as why Joe Girardi cannot help but use his entire bullpen in a given game. Bad calls by umpires, how a foul ball by Melky Cabrera in the ALDS turned into a game changing double. As well as bad plays, Scott Kazmir's air ball in the ALCS being a perfect example.

Minor League Banter: What are the chances of Jesus Montero making the Major Leagues this year? Why are both of Pat Venditte's arms better than most pitchers single arm? Those questions and more will be answered in this section.

With that, we hope you enjoy what we (will try to) do and remember:
